Not having lived in New York City since the early 1980s, until my niece graduated from Yale and moved to Brooklyn, I still thought that all of the action was in Manhattan.

It gives a listing of various events, businesses, etc. I think this book is a great resource for someone who is new to the area. in Brooklyn. It divides the borough up by neighbhorhoods which makes it user-friendly. I recommend this book for someone who is new to the Brooklyn area.
