Great book!
Most of the material is listed in other Disney guides, but the kid-centric suggestions are very good. Good book for families with kids. I suggest buying this along with the Unoficial Guide to WDW. .

Disney for the 1st time? BUY THIS BOOK!
Our trip wouldn't have been nearly as enjoyable without the information in this book. My family (wife, kids ages 13, 10, and 5) just got back from Disney World and had a fantastic time. Since we concentrated on the four main Disney parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and MGM Studios) that's what we paid particular attention to in the book. The information allowed us to get a good idea of what we would be facing when we arrived and gave us a head start on developing a plan to maximize our experience there. I pity anyone that pays the high price for a Disney ticket (though well worth it) and heads into the park blind. We spent 5 full days in the four parks, feel we got our money's worth, and still didn't experience all of it. But we did see and ride what was most important to us - because this book helped us plan our time. In fact, as we headed out for one of the parks each day we tore out the corresponding section of the book out to carry along with us.

Your vacation isn't cheap . . . maximize your investment and enjoyment with a little insight and planning. This book is worth ten times its cost.

A Must Have for Disney Parks
There are descriptions of every ride/attraction for each park, including height requirements and Scare Factor. I bought along 4 different Disney/Orlando guidebooks on our first family trip to Orlando and this was clearly the best for the Disney Parks. It proved very prudent to have a plan once inside the crowded parks. Who wants to find out after an hour wait that the ride was too scary for your little one? Also, it is loaded with tips for parents on park basics such as arrival, strollers, first aid, dining, character viewing, fastpass, park maps etc. Highly Recommended!.
