Great!!! ...subway connections would have been helpful though!
I don't know what I would have done without it! However, while it shows subway STOPS, it doesn't show how they CONNECT. This is great-a laminated trifold that weathered through daily use during my months in NYC. I bought a credit card sized subway connection map at a newspaper stand to supplement. The combination of the two was perfect! Also note that it is about half the size of an 11/13 peice of paper.
Perfect map for Manhattan visitor
The great strength is the clear integration of streets and subway. I've gone through several editions and given several away.
WOW! Don't go to NYC without this!
Wow, was it worth the money! I walked/took the subway over 4 days and hit every neighborhood all because of the ease of this map. I picked this map up on my second day in NYC because it is small (essentially a piece of paper folded in half), lamenated, and had the subway stops/connections along with the streets. "Study" it while on the train so you are prepared at your next stop. This map along with a multiday subway pass is all you need to have freedom to explore NYC with confidence and speed! .
