Apparently failing to get his novel published he got the idea that he should write the stories. This fellow moved to Mexico 20 years ago and must have gradually worked up a bunch of funny stories he told his visitors. I was not able to stop reading this book.
Unfortunately the range of used prices for it today is appalling. I bought it at our library. .
