Also bought Lonely Planet. I thought this book was excellent. Lonely plant covered more area (Manzanillo, Mazatlan, etc. ) but, if your destination is Puerto Vallarta, then the Fodor's book focuses more on what you bought the book for (Puerto Vallarta!) .
