Nicaragua is rich in culture. I wish it had more pictures, and pictures of better places. The parks are nice, the churches are also nice, etc. I belive that ULYSSES will do better next time. The book is great.

It gives a good idea of Nicaragua
I know the author and she lives in Nicaragua since five or six years. I have been in Nicaragua several times and the guide gives a good idea of the country. She visited the country and knows it very well as a person who lives there and as a person who accompanies tourists. The conditions are changing rapidly in Nicaragua and the person who comments about an hotel in Poneloya have the right to have a different opinion without problem.

I used the guide with a group of thirty persons last december and it was OK, useful and a better guide than the first edition. I'm just hoping that the book will be available soon in French.

THERE ARE MANY "FACTS" THE AUTHOR INCLUDED WHICH ARE NOT CORRECT. DISGUSTED BY THE WAY THE BOOK IS WRITTEN. IN NICARAGUA IS AGAINST THE LAW TO TURN ON RED LIGHTS. NICARAGUAN HOTELS ARE NOT AS YOU DESCRIBED IN THE BOOK. HOTEL LACAYO IN PONELOYA DOES NOT HAVE FLEAS ON THE BEDS. . . . . SIGNS AND ANGRY AMERICAN THAT VISITED NICARAGUA AND IS WILLING TO RETURN ANY DAY TO THE SAME HOTEL.
