For authentic background on design ideas...
I like to review the authentic background of design concepts as opposed to taking the marketplace for its word, I guess. I got this book because i'm an architectural designer and a client wanted a "Tuscany" look. So I got this book for reference. The book didn't actually arrive till after the initial design, but it was great confirmation that we went in the right direction. I get the feeling it is relatively complete and makes a great reference or coffee table book depending on your needs. I look forward to getting the rest of the collection for my library.
