very focused on Florence
Still a very nice guide. Even though Florence is in the title, I was a little surprised by how little the rest of Tuscany was covered.

going to Italy
Places to go. This book is great!! All the planning is done for you. . what to make sure you see there. . . where and what to eat. . . etc. etc. No one should leave on a trip to Europe without the Rick Steves book under his arm.

1/2+ Florence
His information is accurate and down-to-earth. Rick Steves always gives good advice. We've traveled with his books before and are never disappointed. I was surprised that more than half of this book is about Florence. It provides just the highlights of Tuscany. If you want detailed information on the rest of Tuscany, you may need another book. .
