I hoped that they would have a more family friendly perspective, but it leaned more to what you might do if you were single and rich, so if that's what you are, then this is for you. I think these authors seem like they pick more of the expensive places to stay, eat, etc.

Very Helpful
We are travling to Sicily as well in which we've gotten Sicily the book which also doesn't contain anything on Reggio. We are currently planning a trip to Italy and I've found this book to be very helpful except it doesn't have anything in it about Reggio which is on the mainland. We are trying to get from Sicily to the mainland via Reggio. So, if you are trying to do the same, you might have to do some research on the internet. I however, would recommend this book to anyone wanting to travel to Italy. I would recommend all Frommer's books honestly.
