Good for the listings, not for the "in-depth" coverage
Being from Montreal, I found the initial section on Quebec history and culture very inaccurate and biased against the French-speaking majority. I was quite disappointed by this Frommer's, I have used their series on numerous trips abroad and have found them quite informative. Now I question the accuracy of all the cultural information I read in the other books I bought. I give it 4 stars for the section on what "to do" and 1 star on the section aiming at educating readers on the culture and history of the place they are going to visit. The books recommended will probably give the reader an even more negative view of the French majority, none of which are written by the latter. .
