Fodor's Montreal and Quebec City 2001: Completely Updated Every Year, Smart Travel Tips from A to Z, Pull-Out Color Map (Fodor's Gold Guides)
Very, very limited... and sometimes inaccurate As for accuracy: one of the attractions I went to (the Biosphere) is not open for the hours listed in this guide. It is open until 6 p. m. in the summer and 4 p. m. in the winter, neither of which is the time listed. It is not a short metro ride, either, which made me a very unhappy traveler. I have since spoken to 2 other people who tried to go to the Biosphere based on this information and found it closed. Also, there are no listings for either the Aquarium or the Planetarium, both of which I would have liked to see. I feel like I have seen EVERY SINGLE THING POSSIBLE in Montreal (according to the Fodor's guide) in only a few short trips. This is hardly possible, given the richness, diversity, and beauty of this city. While my comments in this review are addressed mainly to Montreal, I have been to Quebec City only once (for the weekend) and feel like I saw almost everything they had listed. I would like to point out that this book is only an EXCERPT of Fodor's Canada 2001, and they didn't bother to give you any more information just because you were buying a book specifically on La Belle Province. I wish I knew a better guide to advise you to buy, but I am still looking for one.
