Decent book 
Although the book does not contain exactly what I was looking for (detail highway maps)I found the information very helpful for a planned trip.
Comprehensive Park Guide 
If your primary visit is to these places, I would recommend this book as an excellent guide!. I have used the Canada guide in the past when visiting Banff, but this book provides more in depth coverage of the parks (Banff and Jasper).
Frommer's Banff & Jasper National Parks
This books is packed with tips, travel plans and a ton of information for your Canadian Rockies tour. This was almost the only book I followed during my vacation to Banff and Jasper. Its a great book!.
